Yamiko Marama

Yamiko Marama is a writer, therapist and food-truck owner from Naarm. An inaugural recipient of the Wheeler Centre's Next Chapter scheme, Yamiko is also a contributor to Growing Up Queer in Australia and the Emerging Writers’ Festival’s Vignettes podcast. Yamiko was the overall winner for the 2020 Lord Mayor Creative Writing Award for her story ‘Thirty-Six Hours a Year’. @yamikomm
