Jumaana Abdu’s debut novel, Translations, will be published in Spring 2024. She is a Dal Stivens Award winner and a Peter Carey Short Story Award runner-up. In 2022, she was a Wheeler Centre Next Chapter fellow. Her work has been published in Kill Your Darlings, Westerly, Griffith Review, Meanjin, Liminal Magazine, Overland and Debris. During the day she is a junior medical doctor.
