Claire Cao is a writer from Western Sydney who is interested in memory, identity formation and the transgressive. She is one of the screenwriters of Here Out West, which opened Sydney Film Festival in 2021. Her work has been published in Filmmaker, The Big Issue, Meanjin, LIMINAL, and is KYD's 2022 New Critic.
