KYD Writers Club is a free online writing club for KYD members running across a six-week period.

Every Wednesday evening, KYD staff will facilitate writing sessions over Zoom with a supportive group of like-minded writers. In each session you will be guided through a series of writing prompts. Additional reading will be sent out to be discussed among the group in the following week.

Our next session, which is focused on essay writing, starts on Wednesday 10 June. Book your spot in the club now via the TryBooking page. Places are limited, so if you book and then are no longer able to attend, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.

Meet Your Facilitator

Eliza Callil is an arts worker, editor and bookseller living and working on Wurundjeri land. She holds a Graduate Diploma of Writing and Publishing from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing) from University of Melbourne. She has been an editorial intern at Meanjin and Bowen Street Press, and has produced events with the Emerging Writers’ Festival and Theatre Works.
