Ruby J Murray

Ruby J Murray is an Australian writer based in Oakland, California. She is the author of two novels, The Biographer’s Lover (Black Inc, 2019) and Running Dogs (Scribe, 2012) and has written for media outlets in Australia and internationally. Murray has been twice named a Sydney Morning Herald Best Young Australian Novelist and has been shortlisted for the Davitt and NSW Premiers Awards. Murray is currently the Head of Content at MICRO, an organisation building a fleet of six-foot-tall science museums that are installed in high-traffic public spaces from Rockefeller Centre to NYC’s busiest hospitals and libraries.
