Rick Morton

Rick Morton is an award-winning journalist and author of three non-fiction books. He is the senior reporter at The Saturday Paper where his work focuses on national affairs, science and social policy with a particular interest in the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the welfare system and aged care. His first memoir One Hundred Years of Dirt was a finalist in the National Biography Award 2019 and longlisted for the Walkley Book Award 2018. It was also Highly Commended in the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award 2019.
