Maggie MacKellar

Maggie MacKellar is a writer, shearers’ cook and occasional farm hand. Her books include the award-winning memoir When it Rains (2011). Her latest memoir, How to Get There (2014), is a rumination on love, writing and displacement. She is currently working on a novel and lives on the east coast of Tasmania with a farmer and her two children.
