Kate Cantrell

Kate Cantrell grew up in Brisbane in the 1990s. She is an award-winning writer, editor, and critic, as well as an academic. Her short stories, poems, and essays have appeared in several magazines and journals, including Meanjin, Island, Overland, Wet Ink, and The Lifted Brow. Her journalism and travel writing have been published internationally by Bradt Travel Guides, Times Higher Education, and The Independent on Sunday. She teaches creative writing at the University of Southern Queensland. She tweets @kate_cantrell.
