Faye Velasquez

Faye Velasquez is a Year 10 student at Footscray City College in Victoria, who aims to achieve a discipline fit for writing and art. For now her interest lies in making the most out of basic stories, picking and choosing which loose ends will be quietly tied up and experimenting with style. In the future she hopes to play with body horror and sci-fi, and develop her plotting and worldbuilding. Faye is the fiction winner of the 2019 KYD School Writing Prize.
