Else Fitzgerald
Else Fitzgerald is a Melbourne-based writer. Her writing has appeared in various publications including Australian Book Review, Meanjin, The Guardian, The Suburban Review and Award Winning Australian Writing. Her work has been recognised in awards including the Grace Marion Wilson Prize, the Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize, the Lord Mayor's Creative Writing Awards, the Fair Australia Prize, the VU Overland Short Story Prize and the Margaret River Short Story Award. Else won the 2019 Richell Prize for Emerging Writers with the manuscript that would become her debut collection Everything Feels Like the End of the World (Allen & Unwin, 2022).
