M.L. Siemienowicz
M.L. Siemienowicz is a Melbourne writer and doctor. She has published numerous short stories in literary journals such as Overland, Island and Wet Ink, with work reprinted in Year’s Best anthologies in Australia and North America. Pretty Roadkill is her first novel, a rural coming-of age exploring consent and the realities of sex work. It grew in part from interview material for a feature article (The Big Issue) about the impact on women of working in the sex industry.
