Jamie worked as a reporter for the Capital Times newspaper (now Capital Magazine) and The Petone Herald in Wellington. He was based in Barcelona for three years, where he published freelance articles, worked as a tour guide and learned Spanish. His writing has been published in: The New Zealand Herald, VICE (Spain), Kill Your Darlings, Metropolitan, and Capital Magazine. Jamie's work has also been published in the Spanish language.
