Favel Parrett is a writer based in Victoria. Parrett’s 2011 debut Past The Shallows won the Dobbie Literary Award and was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award. Her next novel, When The Night Comes, was also critically acclaimed, and her latest novel There Was Still Love is out now with Hachette. Favel’s short stories have been published in various journals including Island, Griffith Review and Wet Ink.
