Based in Narrm/Birraranga, Ana Maria Gomides is an Afro-Latina storyteller currently working on tackling the art of Twittering. Her content ranges from sincere accounts of her personal struggle with chronic illnesses, to humours observations on the endless shortcomings of white people, as well as the occasional sneak-peek into her latest creative venture: amateur ‘thirst trap’ photography. Why she’s not yet revered as an internet icon remains a mystery to be solved, though sources have speculated that it’s probably racism.
