We have five double passes to give away to a special preview screening of National Theatre Live’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, in cinemas 24 June. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Joshua McGuire (The Hour) and David Haig (Four Weddings and a Funeral) star in Tom Stoppard’s brilliantly funny situation comedy. This new production marks the 50th anniversary of the play that made a young Tom Stoppard’s name overnight. Against the backdrop of Hamlet, two hapless minor characters, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, take centre stage. As the young double act stumble their way in and out of the action of Shakespeare’s iconic drama, they become increasingly out of their depth as their version of the story unfolds.
This special preview screening takes place at 6pm sharp, Tuesday 6 June at Dendy Cinemas Newtown.
Melbourne Giveaway: Win a double pass to the Emerging Writers Festival’s Short Story Masterclass
We have a double pass to give away to the Emerging Writer’s Festival’s Short Story Masterclass, worth $180. This full-day masterclass, held on Tuesday 20 June, will examine all aspects of short story writing, including hints and tips for submissions to short fiction prizes, readying manuscripts and submitting to literary journals, where to source opportunities, the road to publishing a body of short stories and pushing the boundaries of the form. The Masterclass features such wonderful writers as Tony Birch, Ellen van Neerven, Jennifer Down, Melanie Cheng and Elizabeth Flux, to name a few!
