Kill Your Darlings is delighted to launch our brand new website!
It’s a big day for the KYD team. Over the past few months, we’ve been busily working away behind the scenes with Melbourne-based studio The Company You Keep on the new site design, and the amazing team at Cinch have more recently waved their developer magic over the plans in preparation for the roll-out of the site.
It’s been six years since we published the first issue of our magazine. Much has changed at KYD in that time – particularly the boom in our online publishing program and the expansion of our activities, which now includes a book club, a podcast and a writers’ workshop. What we have recognised since we first established KYD is that we want to make the excellent work of all our contributors as accessible, user-friendly and as attractive as possible.
To celebrate the launch of the new site, we’re running a series of celebratory posts this week from past contributors reflecting on their early writing experiences and offering tips for emerging writers.
