Kill Your Darlings is thrilled to welcome two killer new additions to our small, passionate team.
As of next week, Samantha Forge takes on the role of Deputy Online Editor. Sam is a freelance writer and editor who has previously worked at the Five Mile Press, Lonely Planet and Penguin Books, and was also one of the Creative Producers of the 2015 Digital Writers’ Festival. She is currently completing a Masters of Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne, and we are delighted to have her keen editorial eyes on board. She tweets at @samanthaleesays.
Gerard Elson is our new Interviews Editor. Gerard is a bookseller at Readings St Kilda, where he convenes the non-fiction book club and chairs the odd interview event. His writing has appeared in Island magazine, the Review of Australian Fiction, Higher Arc, The Big Issue and Tincture Journal. His first interview for KYD will appear in our forthcoming April edition, No.21. He tweets at @_thehumancomedy.
Gerard takes over from the lovely Bethanie Blanchard, who leaves to take up a new full-time position. We thank Beth for the dedication and energy she brought to the role, and we wish her luck in all her future writing adventures.
