This September Kill Your Darlings’ book club is jumping off the screen and onto the stage in a special partnership with Melbourne Theatre Company, celebrating the staging of Helpmann Award-winning director Simon Stone’s anticipated adaptation of The Cherry Orchard.
You’re invited to an exclusive, invitation-only conversation with Assistant Director Zoey Dawson and MTC’s Literary Director Chris Mead, hosted by KYD contributor and Age theatre critic Rebecca Harkins-Cross. They’ll discuss the fascinating trials and tribulations of reinventing a Russian classic for a modern-day audience. You’re then welcome to stay on for a performance of The Cherry Orchard and tickets can be purchased now at a special, KYD book club discount.
