gandolfiniYesterday saw the sudden passing of actor James Gandolfini, who was best known as mob boss Tony Soprano in HBO’s The Sopranos. Here’s to one of the greatest, most complex male characters in TV history.

The Sopranos paved the way for TV shows to be as good as film (even as good…as books!). It also had a lot of swearing.

Sadly, US comedian Stephen Colbert’s mum also died recently at age 92. Stephen made this super sad but super lovely tribute to Lorna Colbert. Warning: tears will happen.
